On my Android phone I can go to Settings/Trusted Credentials and disable a certain CA. But is there an automated way for Android to update this list? Chrome is issuing updates and this include also the list of trusted CAs. But what happens with Android when this list is managed at the OS level? Is it updated as part of OS updates?
Example: A certificate authority was compromised. How is this managed, automatically through Android updates or manually?
